Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester opportunity is available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students within a K-12 school district serving primarily elementary-aged children. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment with four district buildings, though the COTA will typically serve one or two locations.
Location:
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students, focusing primarily on elementary-level learners.
- Collaborate with the districts OCR for oversight and supervision.
- Implement individualized therapy plans to support student development and success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational standards.
- Communicate effectively with school personnel, families, and other team members to coordinate care.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a COTA is required.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule ranging between 5 to 6 hours per day.
